Goblet Squat

These notes combine advice from 4 reviewed passages across 2 workouts.

The goblet squat is performed by holding a weight at chest level while lowering into the squat and rising again.

Using a weight can make the movement feel easier.

Keep the heels very close together and point the feet forward. Hold the load in front of the chest and keep the knees open during the movement.

To slightly increase the movement’s effect, place a sufficiently thick book or similar raised surface under the heels only. The rest of each foot remains off the raised surface.

Lower and rise slowly. Avoid abruptly locking out at the top.
