Face Pull

These notes combine advice from 3 reviewed passages across 1 workout.

The face pull uses resistance drawn toward the face and rear shoulder. The demonstrated technique requires light band tension and an elevated shoulder and elbow position throughout the pull.

When a face-pull machine is unavailable, pass a resistance band behind an object and perform the movement with the band. Begin with the band under light tension.

Keep the shoulders and elbows up, with the elbow tips prevented from dropping. Pull the band toward the face and rear shoulder, then return it.

Avoid lowering the shoulders or elbows and pulling directly backward. That changes the intended face-pull position and path.
